Zeki Demirtaşoğlu re-elected as President at DESMÜD Ordinary General Assembly

Milling and Sector Machinery Manufacturers Association (DESMÜD) held its Ordinary General Assembly Meeting at Konya Grand Millennium Hotel with intensive participation. The meeting started with opening speeches, minute of silence and roll call and continued with the presentation of activity reports, evaluation of income and expense tables and elections.

As a result of the voting in the general assembly, the current president Zeki Demirtaşoğlu was re-elected to the presidency by regaining the trust of the members. The full members of the Board of Directors who will serve in the new term were determined as follows:

The new management will continue to work to increase co-operation in the sector and to ensure that domestic producers take a stronger place in global markets.

Studies Leading the Sector

As one of the strongest non-governmental organisations in the field of milling and sector machinery in Turkey, DESMÜD stands out with its activities supporting sectoral development. The association gathers the manufacturers of the sector under the same roof, encourages information sharing, contributes to the shaping of the legislation regarding the sector and carries out various promotional, training and fair organisations for its members to be more effective in domestic and foreign markets.

DESMÜD, which is especially known for its efforts to support domestic production, accelerate technological transformation and spread the understanding of sustainable production, will continue to be the voice of the sector and contribute to the national economy in the new management period.

In his thank you speech, President Zeki Demirtaşoğlu said, ‘As DESMÜD family, we will continue to work with a strong vision for our sector as we have done so far.’
